Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll

Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll

Title Information
Through the Looking Glass continues the adventures begun by Alice in Wonderland.  In this story, Alice passes through her parlor-room Looking Glass to the world where everything is backwards and she meets a succession of its cleverly contradictory and crazy inhabitants: Tweedledee and Tweedledum, The Walrus and the Carpenter, Humpty Dumpty, and others.

Alice's adventures through the story in her quest to cross the chess-board which comprises the geography of the Looking Glass world, to the eighth square where she becomes a Queen.

Lovers of Alice in Wonderland will enjoy the continuation of the Alice magic.  This edition includes the verses, Carroll's preface, the "chess-problem," and, of course, the incomparable illustrations by Sir John Tenniel.

The companion volume to Alice in Wonderland, also published by BLTC Press.
